Crimson Passion (Sour Cherry) shrub

Description

Crimson Passion – Dwarf cherry shrub.  A cross between the tart cherry and the Mongolian cherry.  This is a small tree that is grown for the edible fruit. The cherries are dark and red, round, with crimson flesh, and are ready for picking Mid-summer.  The fruit taste sweet and has a juicy texture.  Most commonly used for fresh eating, cooking and baking.  In the spring the tree features clusters of fragrant white flowers, and green foliage that turns yellow in the fall.

Grows as a shrub that will mature around 6-9ft tall and 4-8ft wide.

Self pollinating

Extremely cold hardy: Suitable for zones 3-7

Trees are potted in a 2G pot and are approximately 12″-18″  tall.

Can be picked up anytime as quantities last.
