Firestorm Honeycrisp Apple Dwarf Bud 9 – Bareroot

Description

FIRESTORM HONEYCRISP  is a highly colored red strain of Honeycrisp. Honeycrisp, bred by the University of Minnesota, has quickly become a consumer favorite, providing a unique flavor and texture. Firestorm™ retains all of the characteristics of the standard Honeycrisp with the addition of improved coloration. This bare root tree will come on a G890 rootstock, and will come approximately about 5′ – 6′ tall. This is a semi-dwarfing root stock. The tree will be about 14′-18′ with pruning, but will get larger if not pruned. This apple is a great all-purpose apple, for fresh eating, baking and preserving. It is cold-hardy in zone 5-8. The apples will ripen in mid-late September.

Dwarf Bud 9 rootstock will mature 8′-10′ tall.

Requires a pollinatior such as Honeycrisp, Mac, Courtland,  Granny Smith, Empire, Zestar and Liberty.

Trees are sold as bareroots (not potted) and will be available for pickup from May 2nd-4th, 2026. Pickup 257 Smith Road, Stirling, Ontario 8am-6pm.

Potted trees will be available in May, for $10 more per tree, subject to availability.
