Gala (Simmona cltv.) – Dwarf. This outstanding new strain has all the winning characteristics of its parent but has a deeper red color Gale Gala produces apples with 90-100% The apples tend to ripen at the same time making picking a breeze. Fruit size and firmness is comparable other Gala varieties. Its a mid-season variety that will pollinate all other early blooming apple varieties, making it very versatile. Ripens three weeks ahead of Gala. Fruits are medium in size. Great choice for baking and making desserts!
2 year whips grafted on Bud 9 Rootstock, which is moderately resistant to fire blight . Whips are approximately 5ft tall and will mature 8′-10′ ft tall.
