Description

Ginger Gold is a yellow apple variety that ripens early.  This sweet and juicy apple also has a sharp but mild flavour that provides a slight spice to its taste. Ginger Gold will satisfy your desire for a great snacking apple and is generally considered one of the best early season eating apples. It is a good keeper, and can last several weeks in the fridge. Because its flesh is slow to oxidize its slow to turn brown, so it’s an excellent choice for any fresh-cut apple use.

Pollinator require. Pairs well with Liberty, Courtland, CrimsonCrisp, Empire, Fuji, Honeycrisp, Northern Spy, Red Delicious and Spartan.

Grafted on Bud 9 rootstock. These are two year trees that mature around 7-9ft in height.

Trees are sold as bareroots (not potted) and will be available for pickup from May 2nd-4tth, 2026. Pickup 257 Smith Road, Stirling, Ontario 8am-6pm.

Potted trees will be available in May, for $10 more per tree, subject to availability
