Description
Ruby Macs have a sweet, aromatic flavor. They are very firm and are resistant to premature drop. Apples are a dark red blush with full colour coverage. Fruit is juicy and crisp. From the McIntosh family that hangs will on the tree. The tree has vigorous growth habit and keeps well. Ripens in mid to late September.
Pollinator require. Pairs well with Idared, Liberty, Yellow Transparent, Golden Russet, Enterprise, Mutsu, Fuji and Granny Smith.
These are 2 year old trees that are 6 ft. tall grafted on Bud 9 rootstock. Trees will mature approximately 8′-10′ ft tall. Suitable for small spaces and high density orchards, but will require staking.
