Duke Blueberry

Description

Duke are highbush blueberry, making them an ideal choice for small, compact spaces or large containers. They have a sweet, wild blueberry taste.  This variety ripens early  season adapted for growing in coolr climates.  Plants can produce 2-7 pounds of berries per plant at maturity.

This cultivar is self-fertile but may produce larger yields with another individual nearby.

Zone: 4-7

Plants can grow to be 5-6′ ft in height with a spread of 5′-6′ feet.

• These are 2 year old plants  that are in 2G pots that will fruit this year.

Fruit size:  Large

Note: All blueberries require acidic soil to grow. If you do not have acidic soil, it’s best to plant with peat moss or pine mulch.

Prefers full sun.
