Description

Red Delicious ( Super Chief)  are a crimson color, sweet and mild flavour, and its stron shelf appeal, the Red Delicious is genuinely the quintessential as most famous red apples.  Red Delicious are best eaten fresh or used in fresh preparations because their flesh does not hold up well when cooked.  Also their deep crimson -coloured skin, the Red Delicious apple is high in antioxidants than many other apple varieties.

Pollinator required: Choose another pollinator such as Gala, Enterprise, Mutsu,  Fuji,  Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, Jonamac and Honeycrisp.

2 yr Old trees on G935 Semi-Dwarf rootstock currently 6′ tall.  G.935 is a classed as semi-dwarf, but could also be considered a vigorous dwarf rootstock.  Resistant to fireblight and replant disease. Trees will mature around 10′-12’ft tall.
