Description

An early ripening, very popular, high quality variety, Jubileum™ Cherry is prized for its large, firm, very dark purple fruit that’s great for fresh eating and for making delicious juice and preserves. An attractive small tree, Jubileum™ Cherry has demonstrated a high degree of disease resistance in our orchard.

The tree is upright and vigorous, blooming later than Danube but ripening earlier, about ten days before Montmorency. It has very high resistance to bacterial canker. The Hungarian sweet-tart cherry varieties are self-pollinating, and early research suggests that crop yields are improved by the presence of a pollenizing sweet cherry.

Will mature 18′-20′ tall. Good for zone 5-7.
