The Glowingstar peach tree, a popular freestone variety, is a cold hardy peach tree with excellent flavor.  It produces large peaches with 70% red covering over yellow on the skin. Perfect juicy fresh eating, canning and preserves!  The skin is not prone to browning and these peaches store well.  They are winter hardy, productive, and resistant to bacterial spot. Self-pollinating, but yields bigger crops when planted near a different peach variety with a similar bloom time.

Trees are on Lovell rootstock and will get around 15-20ft tall at maturity. The trees are two years old whips 7/8″ diameter.

Trees are sold as bareroots (not potted) and will be available for pickup from May 2nd-4th, 2026. 257 Smith Road, Stirling, Ontario 8am-6pm

Potted trees will be available in May, for $10 more per tree, subject to availability.

Growing Glowingstar Peach Trees:

Planting: Plant in a sunny location with well-drained soil.

Pruning: Prune regularly to maintain tree shape and promote fruit production.

Thinning: Thin the fruit to allow for larger, higher-quality peaches.

Watering: Water regularly, especially during dry periods.

Fertilizing: Fertilize in the spring and fall.
